here goes nothing

It was time for my dad, Andrew and Ivy to go back.  We didn't go anywhere the whole day cuz Andrew and Ivy had to finish their homework.  We went out to tea in the morning while the kids stayed at home. We just brought back stuff for them to eat.  The Aunty and Uncle is so nice ^^ they gave us each a little jade of our zodiac signs. They also gave us each one of those donut shaped jade circles for necklaces. My mom already made me wear a jade bracelet before we came, but the Aunty gave me another one. This one is two colored. To be honest I don't like jade all that much xD but I couldn't refuse  it ya kno? I like the zodiac one cuz I can use it as a keychain but I'm not so big on wearing it.  My mom wants to buy me a gold bracelet omg xD cuz apparently it's cheap right now. We didn't do that much so I'll just group these days together.  We went to explore Shanghai in the first day. We went around the streets/malls and stuff. I saw a MangoSix, Twosome+ Coffee, Étude House, and Innisfree~  I wanted to buy some stuff but I don't like people waiting for me so I just looked around.  We went to this street store that sold key chains and I bought hella xD (souvenirs hehe) There's a keychain that's a bike and the front wheel is a clock~ there were diff objects too.  We went to eat seafood at a "seafood street". You buy your own and take it to a restaurant to eat it. It was pretty good. I tried sea snails for the first time. It was good lol. I really like the octopus and lobster~  We rode those trolleys to go around but it was pretty short. Oh yeah I bought a Minion pin~ I think it's Bob xD  We took the metro to go around. It was fun lol. I wish we had some at home. It's be so much easier to go around without a car and faster ...

Today we rode the train to go to Shanghai~  It was like 10+ hrs but I slept most of the time lol.  Before we boarded we went to IKEA to wait for my dad's friends(?) or were they relatives...  There was so many peopleee. They were all there to sit in the furniture and use the wifi, barely anyone was actually shopping xD  Then we went out to wait for them and I bought a Paris journal from a cart outside.  After they came, we went to eat at Pizza Hut since the train goes at 6PM and it was still early. There was pasta but it wasn't that good.  We went to get ready to board the train and sat in the reserved area to relax in the AC room until they called our train.  It was so hot on the train D: cuz the AC wasn't on yet. But after the train started to go it was hella cold.  There's 6 bunks in one room. I slept in the middle level. It was pretty cold there but the top was freezing. I hope the blankets and pillows were clean...>.> I watched a movie....

Today we woke up at 6 AM to go tea with dad's relatives and family friends. Uncle came kinda late but we got there earlier than some people.  It was pretty cool (not temperature wise) at the restaurant. There was an AC that uses ice I guess? Cuz you can see the cold air blowing out lol.  The dumplings there was so good! That was pretty much all I ate besides some porridge.  When we finished we went to the street market to buy some stuff. It was so hot I started sweating just coming out of the room.  I was wearing wedges too xP Mom didn't pack my sandals >.> and tennis shoes were too sweaty. Surprisingly I was tired at all after wearing them and walking all day lol.  Anyways we walked around bought some stuff for "bai sun" since grandma told us to do it.  Then the grandmas went back in the restaurant and we went to the supermarket (more like a convenient store) and that's where we "lost" Andrew. Aug 19/20, 2015 We boarded the airplane at 12:40-ish. No window seat *cries* but it's ok since it's dark we couldn't see anything anyways lol. I sat with my mom in the 60th row and the other three were behind us. We got the seats where there's no one in front of us so mom and I had more leg room. But not that I needed it xD The TV screen was too far for my liking >.>  I was excited for take off because it felt like a roller coaster xD It's so cool that the plane had an outside camera to show us the view. Although I found out too late -3- Taking off is longer than I thought. We were in the runway(?) for so long. Didn't know the airport was that big xD.  I watched random stuff, like Love's Forecast (the Seunggi movie) it was okay. Not as interesting as expected. We're flying today~ I'm half excited and half worried. Excited for flying since I don't have any memories of being on a plane. Worried about how Andrew and Ivy will adjust to their school work when they come back. Well they got work to do from their teachers so it should be fine? I don't want to get all them bug bites >.< It's gonna be so hot too... I'm excited for HK tho lol. Hopefully I get a window seat~~ After we come back there's only gonna be a few days before I leave T^T Honestly, I'm not ready. Or maybe I just don't want to be ready. Just like becoming an adult. I know everyone has their complaints about things, whether it's people, life, or whatever. I woke up this morning and they were talking about stuff. I won't go in details. It wasn't anything good. After listening, I can't ignore it you know? And I can't stop listening since they talk so loud, and I couldn't fall back asleep. Some of the things they said made sense, but there was a lot of misunderstanding as well. They just believe what they see and make their own judgments. This I can say. They were talking about how I got a new phone. He apparently thinks I only got it because I wanted a better phone and I was tired of my old one. Um, did I ever say that? I didn't even want a new phone. I wanted to keep my current (old) one. I wouldn't have gotten a new one if Andrew didn't need my phone. Mom doesn't trust him with a new one so he's gonna get my old one since he's just getting a prepaid card for now. I admit, I w...

Today my neighbors went camping. They'll be gone for two days. They asked Andrew to look after their dogs. So around 9 we went over to their house to let the dogs out to do their business and gave them some food and water. The black doggy was less shy and played with us. The brown one was kind of afraid to get close, but would watch at a distance. Andrew also had to look in the backyard for skunks. Good thing no skunks come to our house. Their house is so much more decorative than ours. They have a tree painted on a wall with pictures on the branches. It was so cool. I've always wanted stuff like that in my house. It was really nice and neat. I like their floor plan better than ours lol. I just went tonight cuz Andrew was scared to go by himself at night, but tomorrow morning he'll be going himself. Ain't waking up early with him lol. Wait nevermind, I have to wake up early to go tea with my grandparents xP Ah...still haven't showered and it...

Yesterday I went to the mall with my friends. Too bad Mina couldn't make it. Jessie came to pick me up after I came back from the dentist for Andrew's appointment. Her driving was pretty good, but there was this one turn that kinda scared me xD She told me to fix the radio so the aux would work and it took me awhile to get it to the aux setting. She said to hold the power button, but really you just need to press it until aux comes out xD The audio volume was already at 17 and the phone volume was more than halfway but nothing came out so we just gave up. We went to Best Buy cuz Chan said she was at Ulta last. After we went in and texted her she was at the other mall lol. So we came back out and went over. Today I woke up from the home phone ringing. I ignored it and hoped that someone else would answer it, but no one did. So I guess no one was home. It rang again and this time I tried to get my phone, but it wasn't there. Someone must've left it outside -.- It was mom, cuz she called my cell afterwards. I walked out to wash up and make something to eat and right when I walked out of my room the alarm went off. It was so loud and unexpected that it scared the shit out of me. Dad probably forgot that I was home -.- I just found out right now that Dad looked for me and didn't see me so he opened the alarm. But the thing is I was in my room...He said he came in twice and didn't see me. What the heck...I'm pretty sure I was on my bed the whole time. There is no way he couldn't see me?? Two are bright, light-hearted, and upbeat. It brings me joy knowing the  (not so) everyday events that happen. I can get away from my life a bit. Another is deep, pensive, and melancholy. It brings me back to reality and makes me contemplate on my own worries. Often, I feel the same way and think, "Wow. I couldn't have said it better." Sometimes I'm even envious of the way you can express your feelings with words so well. I have so many thoughts that I don't even know where to begin or how to even say it, nor is my vocabulary expansive enough to let me accurately express it. It's like reading a good book. One that you can get yourself lost into and become engrossed in, while temporarily forgetting reality. We're so similar, yet so different. On a different note, sometimes I feel like such a coward, yet I think that I can be so brave. Perhaps, I'm really like a turtle. I'm always just hiding, resting, doing nothing and fearing man...

July 18-19, 2015 Orientation was two days for UCI. Katelyn's family gave me a ride.  It was a 6-7 hr trip, but it felt pretty short to me. I don't know if it's because I experienced longer rides or because I was asleep most of the time lol.  Day 1: We went at 1 AM on Saturday and when we got there we parked in the parking lot and rested awhile first. People were going back and forth so we thought we check-in then go to the dorms. But actually people went to the wrong area to check in so they came back. We followed them without knowing lol. The check-in place was at Mesa Courts and we were there but walked all the way to the Student Center xD. The line was pretty long so we waited awhile. Finally we got our room assignments and I was in Lago while she was in Prisa. Our hall and Puente had some problems with getting out keys so we waited a long time.
